Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Manager Endoscopy to oversee daily operations, staffing and quality outcomes for the endoscopy unit.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, adherence to standards, and interdepartmental collaboration to sustain an exceptional patient experience. You will drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, manage admissions/discharges, and mentor staff while supporting a culture of accountability and excellence in care

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 1+ year experience in healthcare.
• 1+ year in supervisory role.
• Specialty Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Active RN license in state of practice or compact license.
• Texas RN license required within 6 months if on compact license from another state.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily function and staffing of the unit/department.
• Ensure high quality, patient-centered care and adherence to standards.
• Lead efforts to improve patient safety and outcomes with evidence-based practices.
• Support efficiency, throughput, and cost control with accountable care.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate admissions and discharges for efficient flow.
• Foster interdisciplinary care coordination across departments.
• Provide leadership to achieve exceptional patient experience.
• Identify training needs and development opportunities for staff.
