Job summary

Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking an Endoscopy Nursing Assistant for the Part-Time I First Shift (18 hours) in Surgical Services. You will assist patients with hygiene, mobility, feeding, and daily care under nurse supervision to ensure comfort and safety.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a current KY Nurse Aide Certification (or completion of first year of nursing with clinical validation), and BLS certification (obtained within 30 days of hire).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current KY Nurse Aide Certification or completion of first year of nursing with clinical rotation validation.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily care under nurse supervision.
• Support with feeding, nutrition, and hydration.
• Document input every two hours and monitor patient status as directed by nursing staff.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and use of mechanical lifts as needed.
