Job summary

Lifespan seeks a Nursing Assistant for its Endoscopy Department in Newport, Tennessee. In this role, you will support physicians with endoscopic procedures and patient care while ensuring the maintenance of the endoscopy suite.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, basic computer skills, and current CPR certification. Responsibilities include assisting with patient positioning and cleaning of equipment as well as inventory management in the department.

The position offers flexible per diem hours and a competitive pay range of $20.96-$34.61.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates clinical competency aiding physicians in endoscopic procedures.
• Assists in cleaning and maintaining endoscopic equipment.
• Maintains safety and participates in quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain endoscopy suites before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist in positioning patients and preparing equipment for procedures.
• Conduct daily inspections of endoscopes and inventories of supplies.
