GS-3 Entry level requires none beyond basic requirements; closely supervised.

Responsibilities

Escort patients (ambulatory - wheelchair or gurney) within the health care system.
Communicate with and observe patients during escorting procedures and take appropriate action to ensure patient safety.
Provide nursing care to chronically and/or acutely ill patients under the minimal direction of the Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or physician.
Provide support to perioperative department and outpatient nursing care to promote wellness and prevention.
