Job summary

MaineGeneral Health is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead our outpatient endoscopy team. This part-time role focuses on mentoring staff, optimizing clinical operations, and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care in the Alfond Center for Health and Thayer Center for Health.

Ideal candidates will have an active Maine RN license, leadership experience, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care and team development.

Qualifications

• Current Maine RN license in good standing
• Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
• Experience in endoscopy, ambulatory surgery, or outpatient nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to endoscopy staff
• Coordinate patient flow between units to optimize resources and meet service levels
• Evaluate patient care effectiveness and address issues affecting outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and departments to coordinate care
• Address staff inquiries and resolve conflicts per policy
