Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care throughout the endoscopy process, from patient preparation through post‑procedure monitoring.
• Support patient care activities in the procedure room and collaborate with physicians and the care team.
• Verify patient identity and procedure using approved safety and time‑out protocols.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies based on patient and procedure needs.
• Assist with safe patient positioning and continuous monitoring during procedures.
• Accurately document patient care and procedural details in accordance with policy.
• Handle, label, and log tissue specimens according to established procedures.
• Ensure instruments and supplies meet high‑level disinfection and sterilization standards.
• Support efficient room turnover and appropriate use of supplies.
• Provide patient education, comfort, and reassurance while maintaining privacy and dignity.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Prior experience in endoscopy, GI, procedural, surgical, or perioperative nursing preferred
