Job summary

Austin Endoscopy Center - North is seeking a Registered Endoscopy Nurse to contribute to patient care during intra-operative GI procedures and to plan and deliver safe nursing care until the patient is transferred to recovery. You may serve as circulating or scrub in caring for all age groups.

The role requires an OR background with at least two years of OR experience; RN license, BCLS, and ACLS as needed. CNOR/SGNA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required or appropriate compact licensure.
• BCLS Certification required upon employment; online certification not acceptable.
• ACLS as required by facility.
• CNOR / SGNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee instrument and equipment setup for surgical and GI procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee the room during a case as the circulator.
• Facilitate effective and efficient transitions between procedures.
• Utilize and update preference cards as necessary.
