Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide outpatient clinical support, assist with patient care and documentation, and aid in diagnostic procedures.

The role includes patient assessments, assisting with diagnostic and minor surgical procedures, specimen collection, administering medications and vaccines, maintaining sterile examination rooms, and clear communication with patients and providers.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months.
• Experience in endoscopy is preferred.
• Ability to provide care for specific age groups and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient assessments and prepare them for examinations.
• Support provider-led diagnostic and minor surgical procedures.
• Collect, prepare, and document laboratory specimens.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and intradermal skin testing under supervision.
• Maintain examination rooms, ensure asepsis, and prepare equipment.
• Follow up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion and accuracy.
• Communicate with patients, respond to inquiries, and document interactions.
