Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System's Digestive Disease Institute is seeking an LPN for the Endoscopy unit at the Main Campus. The ideal candidate will hold an Ohio LPN license and BLS certification, with prior patient care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, document and report patient data and observations.
• Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions.
• Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions.
• Perform routine laboratory tests.
• Educate patients and family members.
