Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Digestive Disease Institute is seeking an RN to join the Endoscopy department, delivering high‑quality nursing care during GI procedures and patient interactions. You will work with a highly experienced team to support diagnostic and therapeutic GI services and advance your clinical skills through education opportunities.

The role offers days 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. with one late night per week and on-call Fridays from 6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN license.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• ACLS required within the first six months of employment.
• CRNI or VA-BC preferred within three years where PICC lines are used.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
• Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormalities.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the health care team.
• Coordinate ongoing care and discharge planning.
• Evaluate and maintain standards of care.
• Assist with specialized patient care equipment as required by the department.
• Educate patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles in the department.
• Maintain CPR and skills labs competencies.
