Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current and valid BLS certification.
• SGNA certification programs required within first year of employment.
• 1–2 years Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up procedure rooms in an organized and timely manner; ensure supplies and equipment are ready.
• Clean and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment per infection control guidelines.
• Adhere to endoscope reprocessing standards and document protocol compliance.
• Assist with patient transport, communication, and routine patient care under RN supervision.
• Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and staff orientation.
