Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a nurse to manage Endoscopy equipment and supplies, assist doctors during GI procedures, and collaborate with other departments to control costs while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role involves 40 hours per week, daytime shifts, and requires active CPR certification within 90 days; CNA or LPN licensure preferred. Benefits are provided as part of Mercyhealth’s comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required within 90 days (or as unit requires)
• High School Education or equivalent preferred.
• Active CNA registry or LPN license in state of practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as resource person for Endoscopy equipment used.
• Evaluates new equipment, orders and restocks supplies.
• Independently assists physician procedures in GI and interventional GI cases.
• Communicates with departments concerning equipment problems.
• Participates in Quality Management program, standards, policies and procedures.
