Job summary

Idaho Falls Community Hospital in Idaho Falls, ID is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to join our surgical support team. The CNA assists in endoscopy procedures, prepares and maintains supplies, and helps ensure a safe, clean recovery environment under the direction of the charge nurse.

The ideal candidate will have a CNA certification (and BLS) with a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience with endoscopy and sterile technique is preferred, and full-time hours are available with

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and CNA training.
• Current unencumbered CNA certification and BLS required.
• Experience with endoscopy and sterile technique preferred.

Responsibilities

• Endoscopy Technician: set up room per surgeon preference and assist with procedures.
• Ward Clerk duties: manage schedules, patient charts, and communications.
• CNA duties in PACU I/II: assist admission, monitor patients, transports, and care.
• Maintain clean, sterile environment and restock supplies in endoscopy area.
