Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center is hiring a Clinical Nurse Coordinator Endoscopy to lead patient-centered care during shifts. The CNC directs nursing care, ensures throughput, and collaborates with the management team to uphold quality standards.

You will support staff training, interviewing, scheduling, and inventory control while advancing engagement and service quality in the Endoscopy unit. A BSN/ASN and RN licensure are required, with ACLS/TNCC certifications pursued after starting.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• TNCC must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date.
• RN credential required.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree required.
• Endoscopy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit, with the management team.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when needed.
• Supports efforts to improve engagement by implementing nursing strategies like employee rounding and hourly rounds.
• Provides input on interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; helps with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and manages supplies and equipment.
