Job summary

LTC Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Care Coordinator for the Endoscopy Clinic, aligned under the Medicine Service.

The role emphasizes patient education, discharge planning, and care coordination across inpatient and outpatient settings. Requirements include an accredited nursing program, active state licensure, and English language proficiency.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• Graduate of a nursing program approved by ACEN or CCNE.
• May include bridge program tracking for RN licensure.
• Current, active RN license in US state or territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, evidence-based nursing care to assigned patients.
• Coordinate patient education, self-management, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate age-specific care.
• Serve as care coordinator for the Endoscopy Clinic under Medicine Service.
