Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System seeks a Per Diem Endoscopy Associate to support direct patient care under supervision of RN and physician. You will assist with endoscopic procedures, monitor vitals, document data, and help with prepping equipment and room readiness.

The role emphasizes infection control, accurate labeling and logging, and collaboration with the Endoscopy team to maintain patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• HS/GED required.
• Familiarity with endoscopic procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow nurse/physician guidelines and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs and records patient's vital signs (BP, pulse, temp, respirations).
• Documents intake/output and other data as assigned.
• Assists physician and RN with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures (endoscopy, ERCP, etc.).
• Cleans, disinfects and sterilizes equipment per Infection Control guidelines.
