Job summary

The Iowa Clinic in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a Full-Time ASC/Endoscopy RN to join our Endoscopy department. You will provide professional nursing services for patients following established standards and assist in the admit, monitor and recovery processes, with scheduling as needed.

A strong candidate will hold an Iowa RN license, ACLS within 90 days, and have knowledge of cardiac monitoring and patient education.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state of Iowa and ACLS within 90 days of employment.
• Knowledge of nursing techniques, procedures, medical diagnoses and treatments.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services for patients in Endoscopy following standards.
• Assist with admit, monitor and recovery processes for procedures.
• Schedule as needed and participate in patient education.
• Conduct discharge teaching and return patient calls to ensure patient care.
