Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking an Endoscope Reprocessing Technician to support cleaning, disinfection, inspection, testing and processing of endoscopes and related instruments in line with regulatory standards and hospital policy.

You will help maintain infection prevention and patient safety by ensuring equipment functions properly, performing quality assurance tests, and managing supplies and inventory to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or HSED is required.
• Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by Health Research Incorporated/Roswell Park adherence to standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, inspect, test and process endoscopes and related instruments per regulatory standards and policies.
• Perform quality assurance testing to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Maintain inventory and unit supplies to support daily operations.
• Support infection prevention and patient safety through proper processing procedures.

Join our team and play an essential role in ensuring the safe and effective care of patients by supporting the processing and maintenance of critical endoscopic equipment. In this position, you will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, inspecting, testing, and processing endoscopes and related instruments in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

You will help maintain the highest standards of infection prevention and patient safety by ensuring equipment is functioning properly, performing quality assurance testing, and adhering to established sterilization and processing protocols. This role also supports daily operations through inventory management and maintenance of unit supplies.

Starting hourly rate is $20.33 which consists of a base hourly rate and geographical differential. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
