Job summary

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with state-mandated certifications.
• Specific state licensure or registration required.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must have a valid driver’s license.
• Travel to multiple offices and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions per state Dental Auxiliaries table.
• Assist PPE and keep patients focused on treatment.
• Escort patients to the front desk and introduce team members.
• Coordinate with front/back office to keep Orthodontists schedule smooth.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, cheerful environment.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments; ensure operatory cleanliness.
