Job summary

Foundation Endodontics in Texas is seeking an Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You will support endodontic specialists, prepare and sterilize instruments, take and develop radiographs, and help manage patient flow in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is CDA or RDA certified, experienced in endodontic or general dentistry, proficient in radiography, and highly organized with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• CDA or RDA certification required or preferred.
• Experience in endodontic or general dental practice is a plus.
• Proficient in dental radiography with valid certification.
• Strong infection control knowledge and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during endodontic procedures (root canals, apicoectomies, etc.).
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
• Capture and develop dental X-rays per safety standards.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and address questions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with treatment plans.
• Schedule appointments, verify insurance, and assist with billing tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction.
