Dental Specialty Center of Virginia Beach is seeking an Endodontic Assistant to support our clinical team in a patient‑centered, modern practice. You will prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures, while also helping with radiography, patient education, and record keeping.

The role emphasizes infection control, CPR‑type readiness, and a strong emphasis on safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Six months on-the-job experience with supporting documentation.
• X-Ray certification is required.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling and intake documentation as needed.
