Job summary

Ideal Dental is seeking an Endodontic Dental Assistant to support patients and the clinical team throughout endodontic treatment. You’ll be equipped with training and resources to grow your skills in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

You will help create confident smiles and contribute to the long-term oral health of the community while working with a clinician-led practice that values excellence and compassion. License, CPR, and endodontic experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of endodontic experience.
• Willingness to travel within assigned areas.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and creating a welcoming environment.
• Assist Endodontist during procedures with precision and care.
• Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms.
• Perform X-rays and chart existing and recommended treatments.
• Coordinate care and follow-ups for timely treatment.
• Support the office and Endodontic team to ensure smooth operations.

What you'll do:

• Create a welcoming environment for patients, helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout their endodontic journey.
• Support patients through complex endodontic procedures, helping them feel informed, calm, and confident throughout their treatment experience.
• Work alongside the Endodontist to ensure precision, efficiency, and a smooth clinical experience tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and recovery to promote healing and long-term oral health.
• Coordinate care and follow-ups, ensuring patients receive timely treatment and clear communication throughout their visit.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records to support clinical decision-making and continuity of care.
• Foster a collaborative team environment by staying proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality specialty care.
• Contribute to the success of the endodontic practice by helping manage clinical readiness, patient flow, and operational support.

• Performing other duties as required to support the office and Endodontic team.
