The University of Louisville Department of Medicine invites applicants for a full-time faculty position within the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism. The division's clinical enterprise includes the University of Louisville Hospital, Jewish Hospital, Norton Hospital in downtown Louisville, and the Louisville VA Medical Center. The division has developed specialized clinical programs in diabetes, cardio-metabolic risk reduction, pituitary disease, and transgender medicine. It also has an active fellowship program with two fellows annually.
Responsibilities include general endocrinology patient care and teaching fellows, residents, and medical students. The role offers opportunities for clinical and translational research collaborations.
The successful candidate will hold the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor and participate in expanding our educational programs. Candidates must be board-certified in Internal Medicine and BC/BE in Endocrinology. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
