Endocrinology opening - Cooperstown, NY

Position Details

• Full-time, permanent
• Join an established group of 3 physicians, 2 diabetes advanced practice clinicians, and 3 diabetes nurse specialists
• Outpatient endocrinology clinic care with shared inpatient call responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with endocrinopathies, including disorders of the pituitary, parathyroid, thyroid, adrenals, pancreas, metabolism, and bone disease
• Provide appropriate follow-up care for patients (both in-clinic and remote)
• Collaborate with other specialties (such as endocrine surgery, nuclear medicine, nephrology, cardiology, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, among others) in the care of patients with endocrinopathies
• Supervise and teach medical residents and students in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Opportunities for supported clinical research and quality improvement work
• Participate actively in division meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and CME activities (such as Medicine Grand Rounds)
• Salary Range: $161,000 - $274,976
