Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team to provide patient care.
• Utilize latest technologies for treating type 1 diabetes.
• Manage an outpatient volume of 15-20 patients daily.

Job description

Description:

• The physician will work collaboratively with our current team of one endocrinologist, an endocrinology nurse practitioner, RN-CDE, RD, and five support staff to deliver the highest quality patient care. We have an active program utilizing the latest technologies for treating type 1 diabetes and draw patients from all Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan.

• Flexible Outpatient Schedule: Monday-Friday

• Option to work up to 50% remote

• Average outpatient volume: 15-20 patients per day

• Practice setting: Fully clinic-based or inpatient consultations 1-2 times per week at our new hospital

• Onsite specialists: Certified Diabetes Educator and Registered Dietitian

• Electronic Medical Record: EPIC
