Job Opportunity: Physician for Midwest Dysphagia Consultants & Professional Imaging

We are an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various experiences are encouraged to apply. During training, physicians will be compensated.

The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas. Professional Imaging was founded in Houston in March 2005 and has expanded across eastern Texas. Our monthly patient census is approximately 2,300, supported by a staff of 70, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and support staff.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week ranges from approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume.
• Health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and educational stipends are available.
• No weekend or night call required.
• Malpractice insurance and tail coverage are paid for by the practice.
• In over 400,000 evaluations over 19 years, we have not had any malpractice inquiries or actions.

Practice Focus:

Midwest Dysphagia Consultants aims to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, utilizing a mobile unit. These services are requested by physicians and speech-language pathologists across various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients.

Requests are managed through our office staff and are scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, often the same day depending on volume and location. Our goal is to have staff home by 4:00 or 5:00 PM daily.
