Job Opportunity: Physician - Endocrinology (Permanent)

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinology Physician to become part of a well-established team focused on providing innovative treatment strategies and improving the quality of life for individuals with diabetes and other endocrine disorders. The facility prides itself on its multi-disciplinary approach, which includes a team of Endocrinologists, Advanced Practitioners, and Certified Diabetes Educators.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Primarily outpatient responsibilities.
2. Participate in a call rotation of 1:10, providing additional inpatient call coverage only when necessary.
3. Enjoy flexibility in scheduling to accommodate work-life balance.
4. Provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management plans for diabetes and related endocrine disorders.
5. Utilize the latest diabetes care technology for effective patient care.
6. Engage in specialized services such as complication screening, medication management, smoking cessation, and diabetes education classes.
7. Collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
8. Open to experienced candidates as well as recent graduates working toward Board Certification.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility and working toward BC) or Board Certified in Endocrinology - REQUIRED
• New York State License (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
• Previous employment experience as an Endocrinologist - PREFERRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current Board Certification or Eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Active New York State Medical License or willingness to obtain.
