Sansum Clinic in Santa Barbara, CA seeks a dedicated Physician Assistant to join the Endocrinology team. This full-time role focuses on outpatient endocrine care, diabetes management, and close collaboration with physicians and diabetes educators to support a strong patient base.

The position features a 36 patient-care hour week, daytime hours, no on-call duties, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, CME support, and retirement plans.

Qualifikationen

• PA with directly related Endocrinology experience.
• Excellent skill set in Endocrinology.
• Interested in following chronic conditions over time.
• PA Certified.
• DEA Certificate and/or California Furnishing License.

Aufgaben

• Provide outpatient endocrine care, including chronic disease management.
• Manage Type I & Type II diabetes and other endocrine-related conditions.
• Deliver follow-up visits, urgent add-on visits, and work within a care-team pod model.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, RNs, diabetes educators, and clinical support staff.
• Provide patient education on diet, exercise, medications, and long-term disease management.
• Participate in administrative duties (approximately 10% of workload).
