Endocrinology (Outpatient) Opportunity in Metro Birmingham, AL!

New patient appointments for the current physicians in the group are already almost a year out. This is an excellent opportunity for an Endocrinologist to join an established multispecialty group in an outpatient only setting.

One of the largest practices in Alabama is looking for a polished and organized Endocrinologist to join their practice in downtown Birmingham.

Education, Training and Experience Required

• Board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology
• Licensed in the State of Alabama or willingness to obtain license
• Look forward to growing a built-in referral base

Medical Group

• 8-5, Monday through Friday
• Outpatient only
• Multispecialty group in one location with 18 Internists, 4 Interventional Cardiologists, 3 Endocrinologists, 2 Gastroenterologists, 1 Infectious Disease, 1 Dermatologist
• Average age of all practitioners is 49
• EMR System: Allscripts
• 150 employees on four floors
• Cat Scan (new in 2016) can do low dose screenings and calcium scores
• In-house lab (over 800,000 tests per year)
• X-ray, Ultrasound, Echo, Dexa, Retinal Imaging, Pulmonary Function Testing, Nuclear Studies
• Convenient office location within 409-bed hospital
