Job summary
Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner to join an established, physician-led group on Long Island. The role is 100% outpatient, offering flexible hours and the option of part-time or full-time employment with competitive compensation.
The NP will diagnose and treat endocrine conditions (diabetes, thyroid disorders, hormone imbalances), develop individualized treatment plans, educate patients, and coordinate with referring physicians to ensure seamless care.
Qualifications
- BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing school.
- NYS RN & NP license, BLS, Board Certified.
- Experience in Endocrinology and diabetes, thyroid disorders.
- 8+ years experience as NP.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow patient base.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat endocrine conditions incl. diabetes and thyroid disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide patient education on diagnoses, options, and preventive strategies.
- Maintain documentation in EMR and HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure seamless care.
- Provide clinical oversight to nurses and staff.
