Job summary

Diabetes & Endocrine Treatment Specialists in Sandy, Utah, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient endocrinology and diabetes practice. You’ll manage adult endocrine and metabolic conditions, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to patient education and research efforts.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner: Current or eligible Utah APRN licensure and able to practice independently under Utah law
• Graduate of an accredited NP program
• National board certification
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong clinical judgment and experience managing medically complex adults
• Ability to work effectively within a physician-and-APP team
• Endocrinology or diabetes experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage adult endocrine and metabolic conditions
• Provide longitudinal care for patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes
• Interpret laboratory results and adjust treatment plans
• Prescribe and monitor medications
• Review continuous glucose monitor and insulin-pump data
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, medical assistants, educators, and research staff
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in ongoing endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism education and case review
