Job summary

Diabetes & Endocrine Treatment Specialists in Sandy, Utah is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established outpatient endocrinology and diabetes practice. You will evaluate and manage adult endocrine and metabolic conditions and provide longitudinal care for type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

Qualifications

• Utah NP or PA license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program.
• National board certification.
• Active DEA registration or eligible to obtain one.
• Strong clinical judgment and experience managing medically complex adults.
• Ability to work effectively within a physician-APP team.
• Endocrinology or diabetes experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage adult endocrine and metabolic conditions.
• Provide longitudinal care for patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
• Interpret laboratory results and adjust treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor medications.
• Review CGM and insulin-pump data.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, medical assistants, educators, and research staff.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in ongoing endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism education and case review.
