Job summary

Lange Recruiting is assisting a busy endocrinology practice in Richmond, VA to hire a Medical Assistant. The successful candidate will be highly organized, friendly, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities include triaging and rooming patients, taking vitals in the EMR, injections, returning calls, obtaining prior authorizations, and ensuring smooth patient flow. Weekdays only, benefits offered.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of medical experience, preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
• EMR Experience, eCW preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Outgoing and friendly personality.

Responsibilities

• Triaging and rooming patients.
• Measuring and recording patient vitals in the EMR.
• Patient injections.
• Returning patient calls.
• Securing prior authorizations.
• Facilitating patient flow.
• Other duties as requested.
