Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Endocrinology clinic. The role involves rooming patients, taking vital signs, med history, and health maintenance tasks, with vaccinations and medication administration as ordered.

You will support providers with procedures, laboratory duties including venipuncture, and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR system. This is a full-time, 40-hour workweek with a 8 AM–5 PM schedule and a sign-on bonus eligibility based on

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training (DD214/EMT path acceptable).
• Two years of verifiable MA experience in the last five years for some divisions.

Responsabilidades

• Room patients, record vitals, med reconciliation, history, health maintenance, allergies, and screenings.
• Assist provider with procedures and lab duties including venipuncture and POCT.
• Administer medications and vaccines as ordered.
• Handle referrals, insurance authorizations, scheduling and patient messaging.
• Maintain clean, stocked work environment and escalate as needed.
• May assist with training new teammates and participate in committees.
