Heywood Medical Group seeks a per diem Medical Office Assistant to assist with patient care and clinical support under supervision. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, vaccine administration, vital signs, rooming patients, and clerical tasks such as scheduling and patient education.

Requirements include MOA program or equivalent, CMA/RMA and BLS certifications, strong communication skills, and EMR proficiency. Flexibility for day shifts and travel between locations is expected.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent required or must obtain within six months of employment.
• Completion of accredited MOA program or relevant job experience preferred.
• CMA/RMA certification required or obtainable within six months of employment.
• BLS through American Heart Association required or must obtain within six months of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts interactions with everyone in a friendly, courteous and respectful manner.
• Maintains patient flow and rooming to support on-time provider schedules.
• Performs venipuncture/phlebotomy and basic office lab testing as directed.
• Answers phones, schedules appointments and provides patient education.
• Manages electronic medical records and scheduling within the practice.
