UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Hinsdale, IL seeks a full-time medical assistant to support daily clinic operations. You will handle patient intake, document results, and assist with treatments, while ensuring confidentiality and high-quality patient care.

The role requires knowledge of medical terminology, strong communication, and the ability to manage inventory and equipment. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred; High School Diploma or GED and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology.
• Familiar with chronic disease management and patient care processes.
• Ability to navigate internal/external resources and use clinic systems.
• Strong English communication, reading, writing and typing.
• Experience with computers and office software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for treatment and document results.
• Educate patients on tests, medications, and diet with clear instructions.
• Monitor inventory and ensure equipment functions properly.
• Support staff and assist during procedures as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.
