Job summary

AdventHealth in Hinsdale, IL seeks a licensed or certified Medical Assistant to support clinical operations full-time. The role includes patient intake, testing, documentation, and coordinating care.

Strong English communication and computer skills are required; BLS is mandatory and various CMA-type certifications are accepted. Responsibilities include preparing patients, assisting with procedures, and maintaining inventory, with a daily schedule Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for treatment and document results.
• Initiate testing and document results in the practice system.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and safety processes.
• Provide whole care during office visits including intake and medication administration.
• Educate patients about tests, medications and diet.
• Monitor inventory and ensure supplies and equipment are functioning.
• Assist with minor procedures and document at time of service or results.
• Support staff and patients; help with patient flow and coordination.
