Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Non-Exempt Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Endocrinology Clinic team on a day shift. You will perform nursing tasks, administer medications, and assist with patient care plans in a 40-hour work week.

Scheduling is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a 8-hour day shift and a signing bonus potential discussed during interview. The role requires MA licensure, completion of an accredited practical nursing program, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current Massachusetts licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and obtains patient health status and data per standard procedures.
• Administers medications and performs treatments as ordered.
• Performs venipuncture and basic nursing procedures.
• Documents care and communicates changes to Providers and RN.
• Collaborates with care team to ensure quality and continuity of care.
