Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking an LPN or RN for the Endocrinology and Diabetes clinic in Medford, MA. 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with office-hours flexibility. The role requires an LPN license and experience in IV Therapy/Infusion is preferred.

The LPN Outpatient works under the direction of the RN, delivering safe, effective therapy and coordinating with the healthcare team. Current licensure in Massachusetts and a willingness to uphold the organization’s core values are

Qualifications

• Massachusetts LPN license is required.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Experience depends on unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing plan of care and interventions under RN supervision.
• Provide direct patient care within the primary nursing model.
• Administer medications and treatments as per policies.
• Assess and reassess patient pain; document changes.
• Communicate patient condition changes promptly to the RN.
• Document and educate patients and families on care plans.
