Job summary

University of Toledo seeks an Endocrinologist to join the Department of Medicine as a faculty member at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. The role includes direct patient care, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and pursuing independent research with external funding.

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent, completed Endocrinology fellowship, and ABIM certification or eligibility. Ohio licensure is required.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent is required; Endocrinology fellowship completed; ABIM board certification or eligibility; Ohio license prior to starting.
• Ability to teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; teamwork with endocrinology care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in endocrinology.
• Instruct medical students, residents, and fellows; participate in conferences.
• Engage in research activities and pursue external funding as PI/Co-PI.

Education

MD or equivalent
