Job summary

IHA is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) or LPN for our Endocrinology Clinic in Waterloo, IA. This full-time role supports physicians and care teams through patient preparation, vital signs, documentation, and basic clinical procedures.

You’ll help coordinate patient flow and maintain accurate medical records to ensure a positive patient experience. The position is 40 hours per week, day shift, Monday–Friday, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• LPN program completion accepted; LPN license in Iowa required if pursuing that track.
• MA certification/registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and healthcare providers in patient care.
• Prepare patients and collect vital signs.
• Document patient information and perform basic clinical procedures.
