Job summary

IHA in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the clinical practice at Bluebell Family Medicine.

This role handles patient preparation, vital signs, documentation and basic procedures, coordinates patient flow, maintains medical records, and helps deliver compassionate care.

Full-time, 36 hours per week, day shift, Monday through Friday; requires accredited MA or LPN program and Iowa license/registration; EPIC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA Certification/Registration required within one year of hire.
• Must have completed accredited LPN program.
• LPN License in the state of Iowa.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care.
• Prepare patients, measure vital signs, and document findings.
• Perform basic clinical procedures as needed.
• Coordinate patient flow and maintain accurate medical records.
• Ensure a positive patient experience.
