Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, Lexington, Kentucky, seeks an Endocrinologist for a full-time medical service physician position. The role includes inpatient and outpatient endocrinology care and leadership within the medical team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with appropriate accreditation.
• For foreign medical graduates, ECFMG eligibility is required if not covered by LCME/COCA.
• Appointments may be approved under exceptional circumstances for high attainment or expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient endocrinology consults and follow-up.
• Provide outpatient endocrinology consults and follow-up.
• Manage diabetes-related treatment and related lab follow-ups.
• Lead and participate in patient care planning and education with the treatment team.
