Job summary

Allara is recruiting a board-certified Endocrinologist to deliver remote care to women nationwide. You will conduct patient assessments via video visits, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care.

This 1099 contract role offers flexible scheduling, malpractice insurance, and the opportunity to impact historically underserved populations. Active IMLC licensing is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Active ABIM board certification in Endocrinology.
• Active IMLC license or in the process of obtaining one.
• Ability to function autonomously with strong diagnostic judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, compassionate bedside manner.
• Experience in women's health or telemedicine a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans via video visits.

• Complete required training and uphold Allara's clinical policies and standards.
• Educate patients on preventative care using evidence-based strategies.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and timely charting.
• Respond to patient questions and admin messages with clarity and care.
• Provide 10 patient-facing hours per week including consultations and medical guidance.

Location: Fully remote within the U.S.

Your Impact

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans via video visits

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver the highest standards of care

• Complete required training(s) and uphold Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices

• Educate patients on preventative care and wellness using evidence-based strategies

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and complete charting in a timely manner

• Respond to patient questions and administrative messages and tasks with clarity and care

• 10 patient-facing hours per week, including consultations and medical guidance, with prescribing when clinically appropriate

Required Qualifications

• Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution

• Board Certification: Active ABIM board certification in Endocrinology through an ACGME-accredited program

• Experience: All qualified board-certified Endocrinologists are encouraged to apply

  • Women's health experience is a plus!

• IMLC license: Active IMLC license or be actively in the process of obtaining one

• Clinical Independence: Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on compassion and clarity

• Webside Manner: A natural ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting

• Evidence-Based Practice: A genuine commitment to delivering care rooted in current clinical research

• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working across multiple platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools

• Telemedicine Experience: Prior telehealth experience is a plus

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is required.

IMLC License Requirement & Participating States

An active IMLC license - or active pursuit of one - is required for this role. The IMLC speeds up and simplifies the process of obtaining a medical license in additional states, creating an expedited licensure pathway to multi-state licensing.
