Job summary
Sansum Santa Barbara Medical Clinic is seeking a full-time Endocrinologist who is board-certified or board-eligible. The role includes seeing 14–20 patients daily, a 36-hour workweek, and a call rotation by phone. Thyroid biopsy is optional, with opportunities for office visits and consultations.
The position offers a base salary with a one-year guarantee, with incentives and benefits separate from base compensation. CA licensure or eligibility is required.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with fellowship training in Endocrinology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
- DEA Certificate
- CA Licensure or the ability to obtain CA licensure
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Manage office visits and consultations for 14–20 patients per day
- Provide endocrine care, including thyroid biopsies if needed
- Participate in call rotation (phone only)
- Perform typical endocrinology procedures
- Contribute to growth and development of the practice
