Job summary

CommonSpirit Health’s CHI Health Clinic seeks an Endocrinologist to join a dynamic team with bedside teaching and medical education opportunities. You will contribute to growing our endocrinology practice within a Cardiometabolic Center of Excellence and collaborate across disciplines.

New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply; the role includes outpatient and inpatient duties, a strong clinical support staff, and potential for leadership responsibilities in program

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• American Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
• Active or eligible for Nebraska medical license.
• DEA in good standing.
• BLS.
• Record of excellence in clinical care, education, and/or research.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care.
• Two+ years of Endocrinologist experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical care in general endocrinology.
• Cultivate subspecialty interests (diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, metabolic bone).
• Collaborate with nurses, primary care, surgeons, and specialists.
• Engage in program development and quality improvement.
• Participate in bedside teaching, lectures, and conferences.
• Lead or contribute to leadership initiatives within the clinic.
• Drive diabetes education program expansion.
• Partner with leadership to implement organizational initiatives.
