Job summary

CHI Health Clinic in Omaha, Nebraska, in collaboration with Creighton University School of Medicine, seeks an Endocrinologist to join a growing cardiometabolic center. This is a clinical practice position with bedside teaching and an opportunity to contribute to education and patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

The role provides mix of outpatient endocrinology and inpatient consults, with robust support staff, a fully integrated EPIC system, and potential leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO or equivalent from an accredited medical school.
  • American Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
  • Active Nebraska medical license or eligibility and DEA in good standing.
  • BLS.
  • Record of excellence in clinical care, education, and/or research.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical care in general endocrinology with opportunities to subspecialize (diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, metabolic bone disorders).
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Engage in program development, quality improvement, and academic activities (bedside teaching, lectures, conferences).
  • Build a thriving practice leveraging referral patterns and contribute to diabetes education initiatives.
  • Potential leadership roles and involvement in organizational initiatives to improve patient care and clinic performance.

Education

MD/DO or equivalent
Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Board Certified/Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
