We are expanding nationally and seeking Endocrine Clinical Sales Specialists responsible for understanding customer needs, supporting pull-through activities, and ensuring that Ascendis Pharma is viewed as a valued partner to healthcare professionals and patients. This role focuses on supporting the launch of Yorvipath.

The Endocrine Clinical Sales Specialist will develop deep product and disease state knowledge to engage in appropriate clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals, educate on indications, efficacy, and safety profiles to support on-label prescribing, and engage in customized, compliant discussions based on customer needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts.
  • Using budgets effectively to meet therapeutic and territory goals.
  • Maintaining current understanding of local market dynamics and sharing insights with internal stakeholders.
  • Understanding practice structures, key influencers, and business opportunities to optimize sales strategies.
  • Utilizing analytical tools to evaluate business opportunities and resource allocation ethically.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver resources and pull-through strategies.
  • Managing administrative tasks such as work hours, sales data, samples, and expenses efficiently.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in a specialty or rare disease environment, preferably with injectable and adult endocrinology experience.
  • Experience with complex distribution systems, HUB services, and new product launches.
  • Proven performance and ability to develop successful business plans.
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to build customer relationships ethically.
  • Must meet credentialing requirements, hold a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel overnight.
