Job summary

Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a full-time Endocrine Advanced Practice Provider to join its team in Lewiston, Maine. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care for patients with endocrine disorders, collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure effective treatment and management.

The candidate will conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and educate patients.

Qualifications

• Two years as a nurse practitioner in a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine clinic preferred.
• Experience with electronic health record systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluate diagnostic results.
• Diagnose and manage endocrine disorders in collaboration with physicians.
• Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory results.
• Provide patient education regarding disease management and preventive care.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record.

MSN with specialization as an APRN

Current state license as an Nurse Practitioner
