Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking an Endoscopy Scrub Tech/Tech RN to join the Endoscopy team in Freeman, WV. Under the supervision of the registered nurse, you will participate in the intraoperative phase of patient care and assist with instrument handling during endoscopic procedures.

The role supports full-time daytime shifts, a 36-hour work week with 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, and a 30-minute on-call callback requirement.

Qualifications

• Scrub tech or nursing assistant in hospital setting preferred but not required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
• Skills Lab - Endoscopy RN - Tech annually by transcript due date.

Gastroenterologists perform outpatient colonoscopies, liver biopsies, and endoscopic examinations of the esophagus, stomach, small and large bowel. Gastroenterologists frequently work with surgeons before and after an operation to help select the best operation for a particular patient and provide follow-up care relevant to the particular digestive disorder

What You’ll Do

Requirements

• Clinical practice as a scrub tech or nursing assistant in a hospital setting preferred but not required.
